Project:

To provide a one-year salary for the director of CENATEC during its revitalization.

Summary:

CENATEC was founded in Benjo Paredes and Ken Corson in Bolivia and is the idea from which SIFAT was born. This project will provide needed funding to pay a director while CENATEC is revitalized after nearly closing its doors. This project will be accompanied by another graduate project to establish a  chicken farm that will pay the director’s salary, as well as provide income so CENATEC can once again implement its historical mission outreach to the indigenous descendants of the Incas in remote areas of Bolivia’s jungle and high mountain settlements. Over the years, CENATEC has successfully brought clean water, medical help, education by establishing schools and protein through tilapia farming amount other life-giving appropriate technologies to many people in need.
