Projects:
The Emerging Methodist Church--The partnership with the Alabama/West Florida Conference of the United Methodist Churh, UMVIM, and SIFAT assists pastors of the emerging Methodist Church in Ecuador, representing 17 churches throughout Ecuador and the Methodidst Center in the city of of Quito. Short-term mission teams assist in projects that meet the needs of th epastors, the congregations, and the surrounding communities. Projects include construction, dental, medical, and spiritual service.
Preschool Children's Project-- Twenty-eight daycares in impoverished neighborhoods of Quito provide a "home away from home" for approximately 1200 children who would othewise be left on their own while their parents work. These daycares meet the spiritual, physical, emotional, social, and educational needs of the children, their families, and their communities. Short-term mission teams assist in projects (construction, dental, medical, spiritual) that meet the needs of the children and their families.
Hearing Impaired Ministry--Provides an annual cross-cultural camp meeting to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional, social, and educational needs for the deaf of Ecuador.
